Officially launched on March 28, 2025, the 2025 competition focuses on three main themes: Promoting environmental sustainability through technology; Integrating sports and technology to drive social change (towards education and future development); and Applying technology for sustainable social development.

After completing Round 2 – Product Development in mid-September 2025, the 50 best teams refined their products and submitted videos presenting their ideas, product descriptions, and implementation processes. Based on these submissions, the Organizing committee selected the Top 16 teams to advance to the Final Round.

Dr. Phan Thanh Toan, Lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology, National Academy of Education Management and member of the judging panel, remarked that most projects applied modern technologies such as AI and IoT, with submission quality comparable to that of university-level students.

Dr. Phung Cong Phi Khanh, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Technical Education, Hanoi National University of Education, added:
“Most of the projects achieved good quality, fully covering the required technical and professional aspects. The products were well developed, functional, and properly aligned with their objectives, including detailed introductions on structure, functions, and operation.
The reports presented a complete research process—from problem analysis, user surveys, design, production, testing, to conclusions. Many teams even performed standardized measurement procedures.”

The Top 16 teams will now participate in specialized mentoring sessions led by industry experts to perfect their prototypes before officially entering the Final Round, scheduled for the end of October 2025.
